In BriteBiz, currency formatting conforms to;

Western Currency Formatting

Western Format: eg 1,000.00 (Comma for thousands and dot for decimals).

This format is common in mainly English-speaking countries, including the following countries:

United States (USD)
United Kingdom (GBP)

Ireland (EUR)
Canada (CAD)
Australia (AUD)

New Zealand (NZD)
India (INR) (for international use, local formatting may differ)

Western format is the only currency format available in BriteBiz.

Other Currency Formats

BriteBiz does have a client base in currencies that are not in Western Currency Format, such as countries in the European Union.

European Format:

Eurpoean format is eg 1.000,00 (Dot for thousands, comma for decimals – used in Germany, France, Spain, etc.). Our members in these European regions are using Western Currency Format. This decision should be made by each member.

Members in other regions outside the Euro Zone also use BriteBiz with Western Currency Format.

Other Regions

We also have members from other regions, who are not able to use Western Currency Formatting, who use all parts of the BriteBiz platform except products and payments (the currency parts of the platform).
