Why can I not see a payment on an invoice in my BriteBiz account but I can see it in Xero or QuickBooks?

BriteVenue has a super Two-Way integration with Xero and QuickBooks.

The Rule is -

  • Create your invoices and payments in BriteBiz,

  • Reconcile payment in Xero/QuickBooks.

Adding Payments In Xero/QuickBooks -

You can also add payments to invoices directly in Xero/QuickBooks. If you do this, these payments will not show immediately in BriteBiz. The payments will appear in BriteBiz after a sync happens, which happens automatically overnight.

Manual Sync -

You can also do a manual sync on an individual invoice by clicking on the sync with Xero/QuickBooks button on the bottom left of the invoice. This should pull in all invoice payments that are attached to the invoice in Xero.

Manually Sync Everything Between Xero/QB and BBiz

To manually pull in all changes in QuickBooks, go to Payments and then "Not Reconciled". On the right of the page, you will see the QuickBooks icon. Hover over the icon to see when the last sync was done, and click on the icon to do a new manual sync.
