The short answer is yes - every contact in your account needs a unique email address.

It is common for wedding couples to have a single wedding email address. When creating a contract for a booking like this, each person who is signing needs a unique email address, so you will need a second email if you want two parties to sign.

RULE: A contract with two people signing will need two different email addresses.

HOW DO I SET WHETHER ONE PERSON OR TWO PEOPLE SIGN A CONTRACT

Signatures are decided on by you as a Venue. In the settings of the Smart Docs template you can set the default number of signers & again each time you create a contract, you have the option to change the settings to reflect the needs of that booking.

You can choose to have both booking contacts sign, in which case two email addresses are required as contacts cannot use the same email. You can choose to have either party sign the contract or you can choose to have an "Other Person" sign, when you can choose any other person already set up in the BriteVenue database.

The venue has full control to choose who or what signatures are required.
