BriteBiz has an inbuilt Spam Guard in its web inquiry form. When an inquiry is received, BriteBiz analyzes the contents and will remove over 99% of the most common SPAM enquiries.

From time to time, a new form of SPAM might get through our SPAM filters. If this happens, it can be reported to our team and they will address this if appropriate.

Other Considerations

For people who have a self-hosted website, such as a WordPress site, it may be good to add a secondary SPAM guard such as CloudFlare as a potential option. CloudFlare can detect and block known bad bots accessing a site, making it more secure and helping prevent spam:

For WIX, Squarespace, and Webflow, again, CloudFlare can be used, but we advise checking CloudFlare documentation for individual use cases.

Wordpress Plugins

For WordPress sites, there are some plugins that can help prevent bots from accessing a site, but we do not specifically recommend this approach and it is best to consult with your IT manager for the best approach for your business. Many plugins do not work longer term.

Carry Out Research

It is good to carry out your own independent research on "Best spam protection plugins for WordPress", or other platform, and consult with your IT manager.
