If your customers want to stop receiving emails from you, you need to click on the email email opt out button in the contact (or company) profile. This will ensure your clients do not get any further emails. Clients cannot do this themselves, they need to contact you. If a customer contacts you under GDPR, you are obliged to respond.
But if you are sending a newsletter or general marketing information in large email blasts, we recommend that you use Mailchimp or another mass marketing tool for these types of emails. If you are using our Mailchimp integration, if a client clicks on the "Unbsubscribe" link in Mailchimp, that will update the email optout in Brite.
