DO I NEED TO PROVIDE ANY OTHER DETAILS?

US Customers

Due to new requirements from Mobile phone operators (AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.), we are required to register the cell phone number that is allocated to you as part of our SMS feature. To help us complete this registration on your behalf, please let us know:

  • Your EIN Tax number

  • Business name - (Must match the exact business on your EIN registration,

note: MyBusiness Name is different from MyBusiness Name, LLC).

  • Business address - (Must match the exact address on your EIN registration).

Why is registration required?

Mobile operators (AT&T, T-Mobile, and most other operators) are requiring full business registration for security to ensure businesses are compliant with TCPA & CITA.

What happens if the number is not registered?

From August 31st, 2023, Mobile operators are going to filter/block all messages from unregistered numbers.

The important things to do to remain compliant with TCPA & CITA

  1. You must obtain clear and unambiguous consent from a customer before you send them a text message.

  2. You should provide an easy way for them to opt-out. We recommend that you add the following to your SMS templates:

    • 'reply STOP to opt-out'

  3. Telephone solicitation (including text messages) may not occur anytime before 9 a.m. or after 8 p.m. in the recipient's time zone.

Note: Mobile operators may filter or block messages on the fly if a message does not comply.
