Marketing ROI

Tracking your Meta (Facebook & Instagram) leads, and leads to conversion is super important for any business to determine ROI on marketing spend.

We make this process possible by not only tracking the Meta lead throughout the lead and sales process, but BriteBiz also allows you to see the actual return on investment from closed bookings in the Leads and Closed report. This is a very powerful management tool for planning marketing spending.

To view your ROI for all lead sources, go to Settings >> Reports.

Change the dropdown toย Source,ย and you can review the ROI on all sources that you have set up.

Setup Meta Lead Sources

Before you start to track Meta leads, you must first setup Meta as a Lead Source in Data Types >> Sources. You can choose whatever wording you want (Maybe one field with just Meta, or two fields with Meta and Facebook).

Tracking Meta Leads

There are four ways in which you can add Meta Leads to BriteBiz, and all can be used for different purposes.

1. Manually Adding Leads

If somebody tells you in person or over the phone that they heard about you on a Meta channel, you can manually add the Lead or Booking and choose Lead Source = Meta (or Facebook or Instagram, depending on how you have your data set up).

2. Website Forms

When you are adding web forms to your website, you can include your lead source dropdown for people to choose Instagram or Facebook, and this will automatically populate on the lead.

If you do not want to include your source dropdown on the webform, you can add another custom dropdown or free text field asking about lead source - and once the form is submitted, one of your users can manually update the field.

3. Meta Lead - Via Lead Forms

There is a function in Meta to link to lead forms. You can create lead forms in BriteBiz that are dedicated to Meta leads and will auto-populate to lead Source = Meta (Facebook/Instagram).

4. Tracking Meta Ads

If you use Meta Ads, you can track leads that go from Meta Ads to your Website! This is a very valuable ROI to track for any business using Meta Ads.

As described in No.2 above, it is possible for the source of a new lead to be populated on your web forms. If a lead comes from a Meta Ad, you can have the source set to whatever source you have set up for Meta.

โ—Support: Please note that you need an external web developer to do this specific to your account. We do not provide support on setting this tracking up for individual accounts.

This would require your web developer to write a small bit of JavaScript to track that a person came to your website via a Meta ad and then populated the Source field on the BriteBiz form before the customer submitted the form. The code needs to be added to your website. This would be a very simple and quick task for an experienced web developer.

(You can also create leads in BriteBiz directly from Meta Lead Ads, which is described in 5 below).

5. Meta Leads - Via Zapier

๐Ÿ‘‰ Note: You can set up any of the first four methods of tracking with any BriteBiz account. To set up leads via Zapier, you need to have a pro-level Zapier account.

The fourth method of tracking Meta leads into BriteBiz is automating leads in from Meta using a Zapier Webhooks Integration.
