If you work as a VA in one or several businesses using BriteBiz, your will want to use your own email address (joanne@jbusiness.com) when working for a business using BriteBiz, but still be able to send emails using their business email - such as events@fabvenue.com.
BriteBiz allows you to manage this process.
This article is only relevenat if you are going to be the "Owner" of enquiries or bookings in the business that you are working in.
Things to keep in mind
Sharing email
Firstly, integrate your own business email, which needs to be Google Business or Office 365. See our setup articles for information on this.
When you setup your email, you should choose not to share your emails in Contacts and Bookings, and not to show your emails on the Dashboard (you need to keep your personal emails private to you). Here.
Next, get the person with events@fabvenue.com email to share that email with you in their email integration settings. This is also done in the integration page Here.
In your email settings, you should choose the events@fabvenue.com email address as your default email.
Outcome
>> Your email is integrated.
>> You can send emails through events@fabvenue.com
>> In the Messages section in BriteBiz, any email you send will show there as sent by you (but as you are sending through another email account your emails do not show up and you are not included in the email dropdown).
Other things to consider.
Payment Reminders
Make sure that payment reminders are set to go from one individual - not from booking owner. Change Here.
Client Portal
The client portal has a feature to display the Owners image, name, title and email address. If you are using an email address that you do not want to share in the client portal, this feature should be turned to off Here. None of the team profiles will be shown in the client portal.
