Allow account users to send emails from your email inbox
If your business uses one central email address/inbox (such as hello@ or events@ or info@ etc.) for all customer communications, you may need more than one BriteBiz user to send emails from this central email account.
As an email inbox can only be integrated with one BriteBiz user account, we have an option that allows one user, who has integrated an email account, to permit other BriteBiz users to use this email account for sending emails.
This means that not all BriteBiz users need to have their own email account/inbox in your Gmail Business or Office365 account.
Step 1: Permit users to send emails from your email account.
If you would like to allow other BriteBiz users to send emails from your connected email inbox (Gmail or Outlook), simply select Yes on the 'Can users send emails from your email account?' setting.
Once you select Yes, a box will appear with the list of account users. Simply tick the tick box for each user you would like to give permission to and click Save:
Once you click Save, you will see a message on your Email Integration page confirming the number of BriteBiz users you have permitted to send emails from your connected email account:
Note: At this point, you should see that no users are currently sending emails from your email account.
Step 2: Use another user email account to send emails
For users who have not integrated their own email account and a BriteBiz user has permitted them to send emails from their connected email account, they will see an option, similar to the following, on their Email integration page (here).
Here we can see Olivia Johnson has permitted this user, Emma Smith, to use their connected email account to send emails.
This user, Emma Smith, clicks on the 'Use this email account >' button to start using this email account.
Once this is done, this user will see the following message confirming that their emails will be sent using the other BriteBiz user, Olivia Johnson's, connected email account:
The user who permitted Emma to use their email account will now see Emma Smith listed as one of the users who is sending emails from their connected email account:
