How can I create & edit Bills, Quotes and Receipts?

Editing your financial templates is easy in settings.

There are standard Bill, Quote and Receipt templates set up in every BriteVenue account. You can change your Bill, Quote and Receipt templates in Settings, Templates, Financial CLICK HERE.

There are lots of options you can set, such as the ones below for the Bill template.

You can also choose to include text before and after the products/services, and you also have the option to include tokens in the text sections.

CHANGING HOW TAX IS DISPLAYED IN BILLS, QUOTES AND RECEIPTS

You can edit the Bill and Quote templates to display or hide tax - you will see this near the end of the template.

There is no option for tax on the receipt as it's a receipt of payment and payments are not directly related to the products and tax.

HOW DO I GENERATE/VIEW A QUOTE OR BILL IN A BOOKING

In the top right corner of the products section, simply click on the pdf icon.

When there are no payments on a booking, you will get an option to view a Quote or Bill PDF.

When there are payments on a booking you will only get an option to view the Bill PDF (that is, the quote option is removed when a payment is added to a booking).

HOW TO DISPLAY TAX ON THE BOOKING PAGE

As well as turning on the tax option on the Bill template, (e.g. for Corporate Events), you have to turn on the display tax option on the booking page. Next to the Tax heading, you'll see a red eye icon, click on this to display tax on the Booking (the icon will turn green).
