This feature is super easy to setup. The three main use cases we see for auto changing stages are as follows;

  1. Contacted - If you have an inquiry stage called something like "Contacted", you may want to set it that these inquiries go into "Lost" after a certain number of weeks.

  2. Tentative Hold Date - If you have a stage for "Tentative Hold Date", and you only want to hold the date for lets say 14 days after you put a lead to that stage, you can auto set the booking to move to another stage after 14 days.

  3. Booked - Some users like to have a stage called "Booked" for all current/future bookings, and like to change to "Old Booking" or "Expired Booking" when the booking is complete. You can use the Auto Change Stage for this as well.

How To Setup Auto Change Stage

Go to Stages and Automation - >> Then Add Automation - >> Then Add Workflow.

  1. Give the automation a name and choose when you want it to run, which will be x number of days after the stage is selected.

  2. In the action dropdown, choose Change Stage.

  3. Then choose what stage you want to set it to.

NOTE - You can also add one or multiple conditions by clicking "Add Condition" - maybe you only want one type of booking to change.
