How Do Clients Make a One-Time Payment?

There are two simple ways clients can submit a payment depending on where they are in the booking process.

Option 1: Pay Through a SmartDoc or Proposal (Pre-Sale)

If the booking has not yet been confirmed, clients can make a payment directly within the SmartDoc or Proposal.

  • No login is required

  • Clients can review details and submit payment in the same step

  • Ideal for deposits or initial payments before contract signing


Option 2: Pay Through the Client Portal (Confirmed Bookings)

Once a booking is set up, payments must be made through the Client Portal.

Clients will:

  1. Visit your unique portal login page

  2. Log in to their account

  3. Submit payment from their invoice

If a client is having trouble logging in, they can reset their password directly from the portal login page.


Sharing Your Portal Login Link

Each account has a unique, branded Client Portal login URL. You can find this link at the bottom of your Client Portal page.

We recommend including this link in:

  • Payment reminder emails

  • Scheduled payment notifications

  • Manual follow-ups

This makes it easy for clients β€” or an alternate payer β€” to quickly access the account and submit a payment.


Important to Note

Payments cannot currently be made without either:

  • Accessing a SmartDoc/Proposal, or

  • Logging into the Client Portal
